When your water breaks....
how much "gushes" out?? Babycenter.com says it could be a little gush or a slow leak. I am terribly afraid that I'm "slowly leaking" and don't know it.
I do go to the Dr on Wed again.

My first pregnancy it wasn't a gush at all. It was wet & continued to get wet with every pad I changed.
eta. Honestly - from your other post - you may be having regular contractions soon enough. First my water broke (or really leaked) and then within the hour started having regular contractions.
YEAH! The princess is coming!!

Put a pad on if you have to keep changing it because it gets wet then you should give your doctor a call cause it sounds like your water did break!

i thought i was leaking at week 37 too! it was actually urine, the baby was sitting on my bladder, BUT if your fluid gets too low it could be dangerous for you and the baby, I'd call your doc.

It gushed for me, like someone had turned on the garden hose! That was because Andrew was breech and his head wasn't down to block the flow. All I have to say is I am glad I was home sleeping!

I walked from my bed to the toilet and was going to pee...more water gushed out...not that much though. It's just funny that I HELD it in from the bed to the bathroom.

It felt like I had slightly peed myself. Not gallons and gallons like I thought it would be. Actually I didn't realize it at first because I was so embarrassed at the thought that I did pee myself. But then I "peed" myself again a few minutes later, and on and on until we got to the hospital to confirm.
I would call your doctor sweetie!!

Mine was a pretty big Gush. I stood up and it felt liek I was peeing myself and somewhat heavily.
