i wasn't able to figure it out until recently - hiccups seem more to me now like a rythym and less harsh than kicks plus b/c she is now so low, they come from a different spot in my belly!

I felt like my baby rarely had the hiccups- until recently!!! Now I feel them all the time. It's like a bump, bump, bump every few seconds that usually last for a minute or so- sometimes even longer.

Re: Hiccups? how do you know its hiccups and not kicks?
to me, the hiccups felt more rhythmic and rapid... they sort of follow more of a pattern than kicks... usually are quicker and more consistent for a period of time. They definitely did not feel as strong as a kick or punch, more like a strong pulsation/tapping feeling (similar to when you first start feeling the baby kicking, before it gets strong)
hard to describe but I think you'll recognize it when you get them! My had them a lot when he was between weeks 24-30.. now I do not notice them as often.
