How long does it take you to cook a meal?
I see so many posters cooking these delicious sounding meals- about how long do they take to cook on average?
One of my favorite excuses to avoid cooking is that it takes too long.

30-40 minutes depending on the meal.. im pretty quick.

It depends on what it is. I try to keep it to an hour at the most. My sister will start a preparing a meal at 9am. I can't deal with anything that lavish!

Depends on the complexity of the meal. During the week most of my meals are easy 30-40 minutes to prepare. On the weekends I could spend the whole day in the kitchen.

That was great!!!!!!!
My answer is on a weekday about a half hour to an hour...weekends I will make something that may take longer.

During the week I pick things to make that take no longer than 30 mins, because I get home between 7 and 8.
Today I made a soup that took 2 hours.
