I pass this house all the time. Its the next block over from me.  The house has been sitting for a LONG time and while it faces farm lane the side is on Center close to Hempstead Tpke. I can't say I love it from the outside. Its not even sided. 
ETA I just looked at the pics and it does look sided.  ooops me bad

The house is sided. My friend eric and I took a look at it a few weeks back.
As of now there is an apartment in the downstairs masterbedroom, small backbedroom and full bathroom with a door in the master going out to the rear of the house.
That can be easily removed, since there is no kitchen in the apartment
The kitchen needs to be remodeled
The bathrooms were both redone.
The dining room is an extension off the kitchen and the washer, dryer are in a closet in that room.
The siding and the roof are newer. All the walls on the first floor were resheet rocked. The upstairs has a large master bedroom and one other bedroom. The house has a front dormer. The entire second floor is dark wood panelling.
I believe the taxes were over $8000
There is a very small yard....Long driveway goes behind the house onto center lane - and there is a garage with electric.

Exactly...
We have an underground oil tank and are thinking of converting to gas so we looked into how much it would be to empty it and filled and it's only about $500. We haven't priced new tanks out yet.

thats why I said nevermind it is sided
