when did you start meat baby food?

not sure what to do because my husband has a really weird allergy to chicken and I dont know if its hereditary or what but Im kinda scared to give Bryan meats and he is almost 8 months, my friend said she didnt start meats until 9 months and another started at 6 so Im confused.

I started Julia on meats at 6 mths. I would start him on one meat at a time, and see how it goes before starting something else.

Sidney has food allergies and I got a list of when to introduce which foods by the pediatric allergist. The list said to wait till 12 months for meat . From everything I have read they say to be very careful if either parent has a specific allergy. Good luck

We waited until the 6 month mark.

I just realized you wrote MEAT in the subject - Michael started solids at 6 months - so meats were last in line - I think he was almost 9 months by time I decided to start meats with him...

6 months for meat. The doctor said veal, chicken and turkey to start.
