Borelli's is pretty good- Italian place on the other side of the Turnpike, a few blocks east - toward Eisenhower Park.

Borelli's is good, you can also go to bertucci's on Merrick Ave, or one of the many places further east on hempstead tpke...

It's funny, I've been at hofstra on and off for 6 years now...NO clue where to eat over there...I always go to old country road.

Runyons is very good and has a huge menu. Going east on Hempstead Tpke, it's near the hospital on the right side of the street.

Runyon's is a good place. There is also Grappa, which is east on the Turnpike and on the north side, diagonally across from Dunkin Donut's. Potter's Pub is also a good grub kind of place (at least it was a few years ago).
Lastly, Majors on Merrick Avenue (I think) is great!
