Contemporary Womens Care Smithtown Pts

Did any of you meet Dr Rubin yet?? I absolutely love her!! What an total doll. I am so happy with the Dr's there :)

hmmmmm I didnt know there was a new doctor there. I usually just see Dr. McKenna (who I love). I also saw one of the new men this summer (forget his name) but he was great too. Have there been any other changes there?

Dr Paone is the Dr you saw, he's so soft spoken. From what I know Dr. Paone & Rubin are the newbies and it shouldn't be changing anytime soon.

I met Dr. Rubin last week - I have mixed feelings on her at the moment. I do like her, she is definitely VERY nice but she didn't answer any of my questions re: pregnancy and delivery. She told me it was too early to worry and we'd deal with it at a later time. I thought that was a little "off".

I also didn't like that Dr. Paone (whom I adore) made lots of notes about my first delivery on my chart and she didn't discuss any of it with me.

I'm hoping to see her again before baby makes his arrival but there are no guarantees. I'd like another chance to see her and establish a better relationship with her just in case she is the on call doc.

I saw her last month and loved her. I thought she was great.

I was just there yesterday and saw Dr. McKenna. I felt like he was rushing me out the door - I guess it depends on their mood that day.

My cousin has had 3 babies with them and said they are wonderful!

I am reallt surprised that she didn't answer your questions, she gave me so much info when I asked questions. Maybe it was an off day!

She delivered my baby a few weeks ago, and she was wonderful. The nurses were all talking about how they haven't worked with her yet and were wondering about her. When she left they all commented on how great she was and they all said they enjoyed working with her.

Is there anyone at this office that you don't like? I have only met two doctors so far. (I am not PG, just talking about regular visits.) Also, do you like St. Catherines?

I really like tem all! St Catherine's was great. The nurses take good care of both Mommy and Baby! I really enjoyed my stay...

I like all the docs although Dr. Paone is my favorite. I guess I'm just the most comfortable with him as he delivered Ava and I've pretty much seen him exclusively with this pregnancy just b/c the wait to see him is never very long unlike the others. I have my daughter with me so this is key LOL.

The nurses in the office are wonderful. Laureen is my fav......she actually came over to visit me when I had Ava last year to congratulate me!!!!!

As for St. Catherines I had no problems. I thought the nursing staff was amazing and the room was very clean. I was lucky and had a shower in my room so I had one of the bigger rooms so sharing it with 2 other girls wasn't so bad.
