When you get Pg how do you plan to tell your Dh and parents?

I want to take the test alone and then surpreise Dh somehow.My sister and i were talking about some ways to do it and here were few..
1) give him the test stick wrapped up.
2) my Dh wears kakis and pols so iw as goig to buy him and putfit and then underneathe in teh box have the same outfirt in a babys size.
3) Buy a #1 dad or Daddy and Mre frame.

So what are some ways you oplan to tell DH or am i the only one who thinks of this stuff so far ahead LOL I am not even PG

DH always sees me looking at that book "What to Excpect When You're Expecting. So I want to buy that and wrap it up, and say, "Look What I finally bought?"But I will probabaly just tell him when my RE calls to tell me that it is positive.
My parents I always wanted to get them a card and put a pic of the sonogram in it, or in a frame.

I havent really thought about it. Im sure my parents will hear me screaming at the top of my lungs and jumping for joy...

I told DH ( I wanted to surprise him since he wanted a baby badly) by getting him his favorite hockey team jersery in a baby size and putting our last name on the back (he always joked about having enough children for our own hockey team). He was so surprised!

Unfortunately we had to tell our parents seperately.

We first told my parents. It was their anniversary, so for their present we made up a basket full of baby stuff. We put in a photo album that I wrote on the front "IT'S A ...." with grandma and grandpa bibs, picture frames, a book they can read to the baby, a book about how special grandparents are, a stuffed animal, bottles, pacifiers and ... I think that was about it! They were thrilled!

For my MIL and FIL, we told them on our Alaskan cruise (just 2 days after we told my parents). We all went to a nice sit down resturant on the boat for lunch (they originally wanted the buffet and didn't want to go to lunch together that day ). My DH and I gave them another hockey shirt with our last name on the back (they are hockey fans too), the same photo album as my parents and the same book about how special grandparents are. They were so happy. My MIL cried!

After suffering a m/c, DH has mixed views on when he wants to find out, but he definitely does not want to "think" about it --- When I got the BFP in Nov, that night, I said I bought him a gift. When he opened it, it was a onesie, and he joke that it wouldn't fit him... where I answered "it's not for you". Took him a second, but he nearly fainted.

In a way, he wants me to keep the news from him, until I hear the heartbeat, but he knows that it's huge on me to keep that secret from him. And in another way, he wants to be right there when I get the BFP, and start mentally preparing again. I'm stuck, though. I would love to wait until I can show him a sonogram pic, BUT I'm afraid to be the ONLY one that knows, ya know? Plus, a month is a long time to keep such a huge secret from him!

We would probably tell our moms without a 'bang'. After sugar-coating it last year (at Xmas dinner, after the gifts were open, we said we had one more gift for each of them, then handed out Xmas cards that said "Merry Xmas, Grandma" & "Merry Xmas, Uncle" with a sonogram pic inside), we don't want to do the same.

Lizzette I don't blame you and DH for being a little unsure how to handle it. I hope you get your BFP soon (when you are ready) and it sticks...and everyone can share your good news!
