Kinda sad....
DH just said (over the phone no less) that I may have no choice but to go to work and maybe FT because if he is done with school, his student loans will come due....
I just don't know what to think right now besides being desperate to find something I can do at home.

That stinks!! But I am in the same boat (like many other women)...We can't afford to live on one salary...
If I had waited until we could afford to have me stay home, then I would never be able to have children. You have to make the best of things and do what you can. Good Luck!!

My SIL works from home doing medical report transcription - maybe you could look into something like that.

That stinks! Have you thought about maybe taking in a couple of kids, I don't know if its 2 or 3 that you can watch and not have to be licensed.
Your an excellent typist, maybe transcribing?

I have to go back too. I have babysitting issues so I can only work part time. I am also looking for things to do from home. Since I am a travel agent, I am looking into doing cruise sales from home. I also saw an ad for mystery shoppers, I think that could be pretty cool...

can you do travel agents from home? I was in sales for 3 years in NY.
I would do transcribing if it didn't require some sort of investment first....

I know the feeling. I definitely have to go back FT. I am begging my mother and stepmother to split babysitting until the baby is a little bit older to go into daycare (6 months or so).

is there a local college around so that you can get paid to type papers??? one of my bm used to pay me in gifts for typing all of her papers through college. i loved it and i loved my purses, makeup, gift cards, cd's,etc.

what about real estate, that what Im planning to do. I have my licesnse which wanst hard to get ( it took about 3 months) and I willl tryto make most of my calls at home and set up apppointments from home for later in the day when dh gets home. I have a computer with the mls system at home so all I really need is that, a phone and fax machine and Im good to go. On the weekends when dh is home l'll go to the office to meet with people.

I started a new job when I was almost 20 weeks PG. It was absolutely terrible, especially since it was a very physical job. I know how you're feeling right now. It was too much to handle and I quit last week. Now, I'm trying to sell Avon. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that I'll get enough customers so I can do this for the duration of the pregnancy.
