my friend did something real stupid....
ok, so she walks her dog down this back road. For a long time now, she's b!tched here and there about how fast they go (it's like a 25mph) and come real close to her and the dog.
Anyway, well, she threw a stone and hit the side of this vehicle- I'm sure putting a ding in it. The car turns around and obviously starts screamin at her. was then on her cell phone. My friend keeps walking and turns down some trail. the driver left.
She's now kickin herself in the azz for doing it (totally not like her  ) and now is wondering what this lady may do. (not sure if she lives in the area, knows the street she lives on, etc...) She's wondering who she can ask for advice? what to expect if anything,etc.? and I'm not sure, so... I came here

Not that I'm advocating this, but if something happens and they "find" her, she could lie and say
A. she didn't do it. or
B. she didn't do it, but she did notice all kinds of rocks flying in the air as cars were speeding down the road, hitting them.

In order to avoid getting caught she should definitely not walk her dog on that route again! People have their routines (I see some of the same drivers on the Northern State in the morning) and chances are that woman will see her again.

well, if she caused severe damage to the car, the lady;s insurance policy would cover it. She would have to pay her deductible but they would cover it. If she breaks the window or windshield if the lady has glass coverage ther is full coverage on glass. If the lady chooses...which I doubt will be the case she can sue your friend to damages to her vehicle. I wouldn't really go crazy worrying about it.
