Anyone else have friends/ family members who DONT have kids

and always give you "advice" like they know what the heck they are talking about???
This drives me nuts!!!!

Or when your child acts out a little or does something they dont undestand/like/agree with they look at you like your kid is nuts or they make that face like " omg that will never be my kid" or " I can't believe they let their kid behave like that"

I cant WAIT for these people to have children of their own

Sorry for the vent!! My sil's FH drives me crazy with his looks & comments.

My sister!!! She has never had kids & was never pregnant yet, she knows EVERYTHING on both subjects!!! It drives me nuts.

Oh yes my SIL does this to me. She doesn't have kids but thinks that becuz she is around our neice alot she thinks she is an expert. She tells me thing that I already know. For example my daughter has another tooth coming in and has been a bit cranky and she was like you know you can give her motrin to h elp take away the pain. I was like yes I know this. Oh and she also tells methat now she is crawling and pulling herself up I have to start putting things up high and put the padding on my coffee table like I am stupid or something ugh I want to smack some sense into her.

YESSSS..my co-workers. They can't understand me. They think I am "complaining" but to other moms I am "venting". I have given up talking to them because they have NO clue. Being an aunt and a mom are 2 different things. All they think about is that "cute baby" when one of their family members give birth. Little do they know how hard it is and that these cute little babies grow up to talk back to you-lol!!
I love my kids to death but it is NOT easy especially working full time and I HATE when they complain that they got up at 9am on the weekend or that they are "tired"! PLEEEEASE! Give me a break, you have NO clue what tired is-lol!!

yes ma'am!! I had a friend like that. she was around my girls all the time and she would comment about my parenting skills. this is a woman who cant take care of herself let alone kids. she commented about the way i handled my messy divorce with my kids and i think i did a dam good job. they are healthy and happy and well cared for. i felt like smacking her sometimes!!
