LH surge at 8 PM.. when to do IUI?

Hi Ladies-

I was on Clomid days 3-7 this cycle. Today is day 14 and I detected the LH surge at 8 PM. But, I had tested in the morning and there was nothing. When can I do IUI?

I go to RS of NY and it seems like they work 7-3 on Wednesday and I am out on a business trip on Thursday. Is this cycle lost for me? I don't know how to get out of my Thurs travel and its all day.. I will have to leave home by 8:30 and won't be back until 10 that night.

Please any direction will help.. I'm so confused!

Call them first thing in the AM. They will ikely want you to come in tommorow for the IUI. They normally do their iuis all before 8 ( Semen drop off) so make sure hubby is aware and if I were you since the timing might be off this cycle...BD!!!!!

I used to go there as well. My DH used to go in at
7:30 to produce a sample and then I waited an hour or so before the IUI. I'd either call first thing or call on the way there and show up a little before 7:30.

The business trip can cause the timing of the IUI to be off...it's best to go in tomorrow for an IUI and then have them measure your follies and do an estradoil/LH blood test. If they notice you still haven't ovulated, they should do another IUI the next day. RS, isn't always easy going with back to back IUIs...so you really have to speak up about it. If the timing of the IUI is off, you may be better off bding on your own. Washed sperm only lives for a few hours....
