babymoon-need opinions on these options
DH and I are thinking of taking a trip in June (I'll be 5 months preggo) We're considering a few options and would love some opinions. We're also trying to do it as cheaply as possible. 1) stay at my timeshare in Orlando for a week. It will be $200pp for airfare, about $200 for a car rental, and $85 to exchange my timeshare. So roughly $700 before spending. We were going to skip the whole Disney thing and maybe do Seaworld for a day, but spend the rest of the time relaxing at my resort. We'll have a kitchen so maybe we'll go out for dinner 2-4 times and probably have lunch at the pool snackbar ($20-30 a day) 2) Got to my timeshare outside of Playa del Carmen for a week. $324pp for direct airfare, won't need to pay an exchange fee. So a little more than $600 before spending. We would probably eat out more, but Mexico isn't too expensive and there are lots of options. 3) Go to Puerto Plata, DR for a week all-inclusive, direct flight. Can stay at the RIU Merengue (fairly nice resort) for $627pp. It's a great deal, but it's the start of rainy season and I know all-inclusive food can get repetitive.

I don't know about the Pregnancy part because I have never been pregnant before... but have you already been to all of these places? If it was me, I would want to go somewhere new. I never like to go to the same place twice

Re: babymoon-need opinions on these options
Yeah, we've been to all of them- well we've been to Punta Cana, not Puerto Plata, but how different can they really be. The whole thing is, we're trying to do it on a budget and we're really just looking to relax for a week in the sun. We also want a direct, and not too long flight, which is how we wound up with these top options. Any other suggestions are welcome though.

Re: babymoon-need opinions on these options
Honestly, I would stay in the US. After hearing about a friend who went to the carribean and had a medical problem, I think I would be nervous to travel there while pregnant, JMO.
