Kitchen color.....Hmmmm
I was leaning towards a khaki/tan color with an accent wall of a darker cocoa....but now I'm thinking maybe a yellow color all around with the white cabinets (it's VERY bright naturally) with some green accents (Ivy patterned) and maybe purple or daisies.
Or are Daisies more for a bathroom???

I think I like the sage green the better than the yellow with White cabinets.

I agree with more color in this room - it will be a nice compliment to the white I think. Im in the minority on that poll, but I like your idea of yellow with purple too - it sounds very springy and pretty!

I also have white cabinets and a white counter top and painted the walls sage. I'll see if I can find a picture to give you an idea. When we painted I did it in beige originally and it didn't pop so we changed it to sage and loved it.

Oh totally forgot to add that our dishes are a washed out brown and washed out green (very beachy natural colors)
