Question for anyone who has a king bed...
Did the box spring come in two separate pieces or all one piece? When we bought the queen bed the box spring had to be returned because it couldn't fit up the stairs and we had to buy the split box spring for it. I called to inquire about getting split box springs for the king we are ordering and he said all king sets come like that. So if you have a king - what brand and did the box spring come in two separate pieces? Thanks!

yes, we have a sealy, and the box spring comes in 2 pieces., also we try to turn the mattress over whenever we have the chance, and the strenth.

Our boxspring is 2 piece also. It helps support the mattress better with the 2 bodies on top.
WE have a Southerland pillow top that we got on sale with a coupon for $599 plus delivery

I forgot our brand too, but the box spring is 2 pieces, and I think they all are 2 pieces.

We have a daybed that we keep folded out into a King (otherwise it's a twin). Made it a LOT easier tog et in the apt. Would have been impossible were it a solid king size spring

Just wanted to add, that apparently they don't make king size box springs, so the two pieces we use are twin size box springs.
