Pink Eye
I woke up this morning and my eyes are huge and pink
I won't take anti-biotic as I'm in the 2WW from my IVF
DH read on line that contact lense solution works and warm cotton balls soaked in salt water so I'll be laying on the couch looking like an alien.
I can't leave the house, sun is too bright and I don't have prescription sunglasses I was on bedrest all last week. I feel like I'm turning into a recluse.
WEll, better it's happening now than on a workday

If you have bacterial pink eye- then the medicine would be eye drops nothing oral- so I don't know if you have to worry about the 2WW.
If the pink eye is viral- then there isn't anything you can do but wait it out.
If you wear contacts- throw that latest pair out and wear your glasses for at least a week.

 The Dr. can give you perscription eye drops for it.

Are the drops they normally give antibiotic? I guess that would make sense, eh?
Hope you feel better soon. You should go to the DR though....once I thought I had pink eye and I had something called dacrio stystitis -- who knows how to spell it! I was like 15!

I haven't worn my lenses in over a week but I threw them out anyway, washed all of my sheets and towels in sanitized cycle. My mom used to get it when I was little and I know it can be very contagous so I'm keeping all of my stuff separate.
The contact lense solution contains Boric Acid which will help kill the infection.
After everything I've gone through trying to get preggos since March 05 and spending 4 days on complete bedrest last week I will be waiting this out. I don't want to put any other meds in my body.
If it's not better by tomorrow I'll go but absolutely no way am I putting any anit-biotics in my body.

I was the queen of pink eye... I felt like a child...turns out it was all related to my allergies.
I would definitely find out if it's viral, bacterial or allergies just to be safe.
