How do you sell stuff on ebay?
I was just wondering. I have an Ebay account since I've bought stuff but I've never sold anything.
Can someone walk me through it?

You have to create a seller's account in addition to your regular account that you buy with (you can use the same name though), instructions are pretty easy to follow.

Yes, everything you sell costs money..
There are charts on there to tell you how much..
Lets say something thats under 10 dollars might be like a 30 cent liisting fee.. if you want to put a picture it might be another 15 cents..
When you sell your item ebay takes another % of the total selling price ( on 10 dollars it might be another 50 cents)
There are so many options they give u that cost money but some of it you wont even use
If you do well selling you will hardely notice the fees.
I have it set up where my fees are taken every month right out of my paypal account.
When u go to ebay theres a link on top that says " SELL"
It takes you threw everything step by step.
Shows you prices as u go.
Make sure your titles are good as that is how ppl will find your stuff..
WHen it doubt on price look to see what others are selling it for, you need to be competitive.. I always try to sell a little lower to insure I sell.
Take good pics too.. show and write as much detail as you can. The more detail the better..
Think about if u want to sell outside the USA..
I was but it was such a hassle. Now I only sell within the USa.
You might want to invest in a scale so u know how much to charge for shipping..
I pretty much estimate ( usually up it a pound or so for my handling, some ppl enjoy upping it TO TO much)

i sell a lot of stuff on half.com. books and dvds. there is no charge for posting, but they do take a small percentage if you make a sale
