DIYers: What do you hope to get done on your house this weekend?
I'm starting to scare myself - I'm actually excited for the weekends so that we can actually do some work!   
This weekend we hope to finish painting the hallway and start to prepare the living room for painting. I have window frames to paint and we'd like to get the backyard completely cleaned and ready for some plantin/transplanting.

We just closed on our home this past Monday, and since we live in Queens, we'll be spending the weekends in the house priming and painting...or at least that's the plan for this weekend.

Yardwork and some plantings. Finish arranging the garage...we are putting up shelving and building a work bench and ripping out a built in bed to make room for a custom closet.

This weekend we will finish painting the living room and dining room, possibly start on the kitchen and we'll finish building our new closets in our bedroom.

Well we wont get it "done" this weekend, more like we have been working on it since we closed 3-15-06.. but it will be worth it. We hope to continue w/ the new electric throughout the house, dh and his friend are installing a new window in the kitchen and our new french doors which WILL be done this weekend . then its on to sheet rock, paint, cabinets etc. etc. etc.

- taping, spackling and painting the new laundry area
- sheetrocking the kitchen walls- hopefully
- cleaning the backyard to start planting

Wallpapering the kitchen tomorrow and laying the flooring on Sunday. DH will finish the kitchen cabinets tonight.

We pruned the tree and cut down ALOT of bushes and I need to bundle it all up for the leaf pickup. Plus I would like to rake one part of the yard wher there are alot of leaves.

We are going to powerwash our new fence and stain it this weekend if it is nice out. ALso, clean up the yard some more (if it is noit raining).
We are also going to buy 2 repalcement windows that we have to change before we get our siding done.

I'm working tomorrow & tomorrow night is my stepdaughters school play so we won't get alot done. Sunday DH will finish my greenhouse, maybe start installing the new fence. our list is really long but I don't think this will be a very productive weekend.

Finish ceiling repair in small bedroom
Repaint bedroom
install saddles

We just ripped up one of the flower beds in the front of our house. There was an ivy vine that was strangling all the plants. When we took it out it looked like a big brain. Its huge!
There is a lot more to be done but there is only so far I can push my DH.
