Diapers? Where to buy and what's a good price?

As a new mom I need to start buying diapers. Where does everyone get them? What's a good price? Do you always shop sales? use coupons? So far we like Pampers the best. Any other brands that are lower priced but still good?

i was checking baby depot and it appeared to be good prices. you should also post his on the pregnancy board.

I haven't really gotten into the diaper buying just yet since my parents don't seem to stop bringing them everytime they come here (NOT THAT I'M COMPLAINING ABOUT THAT!), but they said BJs had decent prices on pampers. We only use pampers, every other brand I tried leaked terribly. I think for the newborn, it was 96 diapers for 21 bucks at BJs. The size ones were 32 bucks for 214 of them.

Target had good prices and sales. Stop n SHop was on average a couple dollars more, but it's convenient for me to buy there because that's where I grocery shop. Costco has good prices too on big boxes - but they dont have newborn sizes so can't buy there yet, Katie is still in newborns.

We found BJ's to have the best prices! We use mainly Pampers and also tried and liked Luv's which were a bit less and BJ's brand diapers worked well and were half the price of Pampers!

I joined a disposable diaper service and found it has been cheaper for us. It is storkschioce.com. The diapers are better then Pampers. IMO It is free shipping and will come as often as you need.

We're Pampers people You can go to www.pampers.com and sign up for coupons.

I've found Walmart to be the best price all around, but Stop & Shop is comparable when they run sales.

We use Pampers and Huggies only. Luvs, White Cloud, basically all the cheapo diapers leaked when we put them on my DD.

I tried all brands when Roman was born. My favorite are white cloud from WalMart. They have never leaked from size N-3. I buy a box of 104 for $14.00

I love Waldbaum's Americas Choice Diapers and Target brand... Haven't had a problem with leaks in a while with either brand.

I use Pampers (when its onsale) and CVS Supreme brand (i'm an employee and gets 30% off on CVS brands). A package of 24 costs me $6 or less if I have other CVS coupons to use. Once I've bought 4 package and only paid $10.00. The pharmacist i worked with, told me about CVS's brand diaper, it's what she uses for her DD, and when I tried it, never experienced any leakage.

Thanks for all the responses. I had my DD on June 2. So she is now 3 weeks old and it's amazing how fast you go through diapers. I have to start stocking up.

DITTO! I am also a huge fan of White Cloud...all my other friends use Pampers or Huggies and pay a fortune...I pay $14 a case and never get leeks!! Some of my friends are too good to use Walmart brand -they think they have to have a name brand on the diapers too I could care less - he's POOPING in them people !!
