Washing baby clothes?
Do you use a special detergent to wash baby clothes? One with out perfumes or dyes or something?
I want to wash a blanket to give to a friend ( for a newborn) & I don't know if should use Tide, like I do for all my things or soemthing else.
Thanks!

Re: Washing baby clothes?
Dreft is $$$ compared to other brands. You could also wash it in All Free and Clear or something without dyes and perfumes.

I agree...use All Free and Clear. It's cheaper and the same thing! Dreft is yet another $$$ making racket!

Re: Washing baby clothes?
I've used Baby All from the beginning and she's had no reactions. I really like the smell. It's like $4 a bottle at Target, while Dreft is like $8. Plus you can use All coupons for it.

I wash all of marissa's My sister washing my niece's clothes in the same thing. She buys the big bottle in Costco which lasts her a long time and which is not that bad in price compared to a single bottle in the store.

Re: Washing baby clothes?
I used Dreft for the first 8 months then switched to Baby All, and planned to use All Free and Clear for all of us by May or 1 year.
Well, shorty after switching Aidan to Baby All he developed mild eczema. So don't know if it has anything to do with it, but I am back on the Dreft.
He seems to be doing better, but still has dry, sensitive skin.
