We had our first date night
6 months - it took long enough!
Today is my bday so yesterday, DH came home and told me we were going out to dinner once Alex fell asleep, and we'd bring her with us. Just as I was putting her to sleep, I hear the doorbell ring - hubby arranged for a babysitter to watch her, and he drove me to the city to my favorite restaurant and arranged for my friends to meet me there! 
There are some days I want to kill him, and then there are days like this... guess I have to remember on the kill him days, that he *does* have his moments

Very sweet!! Happy birthday! Were you able to enjoy yourself and not talk about the baby all night?  I swear, whenever DH and I get a date night (a RARE occasion)... 90% of the time we talk about our boys!
