Down trees and broken cars on N. State. PLEASE BECAREFUL EVERYONE!
Just got home. We left Islandia at 3:45  (im only in Levittown)
On the way home I passed a down tree by Dix hills... AND my car DIED! The northern state is flooded and I drove threw it slowly (like everyone else) and my car died.. THANK GOD I let it sit for 10 minutes and it started back up!

I know... I was praying.. My car is old but I HAVE NEVER HAD ANY PROBLEMS WITH IT.. KNOCK ON WOOD! But we just moved into the house and have 0.00

yikes! Glad you got home safely.
Rich drives from Elmont to Kings Park - he left a little before 4, and it's now 5:40- he's only at exit 38! (he needs to get off at 45, then take the sunken meadow all the way north.  ) We had 6pm dinner reservations for his birthday....that's not gonna work!!!

This is why I am so upset that DH has a client dinner tonight in Long Beach. He has to drive from Centereach to Long Beach and then back later on tonight
