Spinoff to grandparent names: Young
Both of our parents are in their early 40's. I feel funny having them called grandma and grandpa even though that's what they are going to be.
Anyone else have parents that are young? Is grandma/grandpa working with them?

My IL's are Nonna and Poppy-they are in their mid fifities-GC are 12, 8 and 3.

my mom will be Memere. my dad will prob be Pepere.

and on dh's side his mom will be Grammy. she already has GK

my mom and step dad are 45 and my dh mom is 48 and step dad is 32 lol so yeah there young

My dad is 58 and my mom is 56 (actually both will be turning these ages this fall). My stepmother is 53.

My mom was VERY young too, 44 to be exact. She has always been Grams,Gram, and as my dd got older grandma too. My dad is pop.

DH's parents will become grandparents for the first time with our baby...MIL is 50 and FIL is 52.
My parents became grandparents at:
Dad - 48
Stepmom - 44
Mom - 45
Stepdad - 51
Dad and stepmom will be 2 years older and mom and stepdad will be 1 year older when our child is born.

My mom will be turning 45 right around the time  is born and my dad is 50, so they are pretty young. My mom will be Grammy. It sounds so old to me, but that's what she keeps saying, and when she calls my dog, she says "come to grammy", so if that's what makes her happy, that's fine with me. And my dad will most likely be Poppy. That's what I called my mom's dad, so I figured we'd keep it the same  .
My two grandmas are in their mid 70s and will be Oma (german) and Babcha (Polish). We call them both grandma, so I wouldn't be surprised if ends up calling them grandma also.

My mom was 44 and my dad was 46 when Jenna was born-now that she talks she call them "gramma and grampa"
