I'm a newbie with a funny story
So I am going off the pill next month and feel like I know NOTHING about conception (except of course how to BD!). Here's the funny part: my mom is a midwife. Ladies - I had birth stories at the dinner table from when I was 7 years old. I can tell you everything you need to know about labor but not a lick about trying, fertitily and all that other fun stuff (short of lose weight, take vitamins and BD!).
I apparently held court one day on the playground in 3rd grade and informed everyone about the "placento," "feet mush" and "cermical cap" but had no idea how the stork actually included these in the delivery of a baby.
Worst part is I can't ask mom b/c she is in super "I wanna be a grandma" mode - just what I need more pressure. I have a great group of midwives and an older sister who has 2 little ones and tons of friends with kids, but I had to share b/c of the irony.
Anyway, I appreciate your support and direction me and DH head down the baby path. God, if my mother only knew I posted this! Best wishes for a healthy "feet mush" and "placento."
