Please help me decide on bedding....I'm driving myself nuts!!!

OK...so for my shower I registered for Winnie the Pooh because I was totally convinced I was having a boy and I figured it was unisex just incase.....but now that I have a little girl I'm thinking I want to do something more girly. Dh thinks I'm crazy because we have everything pooh....But now that I look at the Pooh set I kind of think it is boyish because it has a lot of blue. I could just return the pooh stuff....what do you think....what would you do. Here's the pooh set and the girly set I like.

Not really sure why the pink set is coming out shiny....it isn't at all!

JMO, but I prefer the Pooh set. The other one is too much pink for me. Sorry!

I don't think that Pooh set is boyish, it looks like little flowers around the edge?

I'm not feeling the Pooh for a girl. That said, I would probably also want to get something a little more girly other than the Pooh.

The set is really not all pink...it has a lot of cream and its a very soft pink...the picture stinks....I'm gonna see if i can find a better one

We registered for the "Sea Life" bedding since we didn't know if we were having a boy or a girl -- and it's somewhat neutral. But now my sister is getting us a girly set from pottery barn kids so Emily can have a girly crib. Plus once we get our own place I really want to give her a great girly nursery. I can completely understand wanting to get something girly for her now although I do love the pooh set.

Here is the set we have on order for Emily:

i'm biased, b/c i'b obsessed with WTP, but if you already have the Pooh set, i would keep it- i think its adorable, and just make the other things in her room Pink. i dont think Every single thing needs to be that pink theme.

also.. i think the pink set is Beautiful, but it seems a little 'older' to me.... i would do something like that for her toddler bed in a couple of years.

This is tough...I really like the Pooh set, but, if you really love that girly set than I say go for it.

We also didn't know what we were having so we did a neutral room. I love her room. It doesn't bother me that it's not girly because as someone once said to me you will have many years to do a girl room but only one time that she will be in the nursery! If you love the pooh as a nursery set, then stick with that and do a pink girly room when she is ready for her big girl room!

That's what I am doing. When the time comes for baby #2, our daughter will get a new room and believe me it will be as girly as they come and the new baby will go into the neutral nursery!

I do like both sets btw!

I'm not a fan of Pooh, I LOVE the 2nd one. Pooh has always been whiny to me, cute, but whiny!Chat Icon

I like #2. So pretty

BUT...what will you be doing with the comforter? Since you cant put one on an infant, some people put it on the wall with a quilt rack and #2 wouldnt work with that.
