Olivia Newton-John's Statement on Missing Boyfriend.
"As you are all now aware, my dear friend Patrick McDermott, who I love very much, is missing. He was last seen on a charter fishing boat on June 30th. Out of respect for his family, I have chosen not to make any public statements until now. For those of us who know and love him, it has been a truly heart breaking experience and we have chosen to deal with it privately. I have offered my full cooperation to the authorities who are continuing to investigate the circumstances of his disappearance and we are hopeful that eventually we will find some answers. I am grateful for all of those who have expressed their concern. I would simply ask for your continued support and prayers for his safety and well-being and for that of his family."

in reading the article that was posted the other day, it seems to me that the authorities need to step up their investigation a bit. it was a fishing vessel, and there were other passengers onboard, but NOONE saw, heard, anything?? or noone noticed this guy wasn't on the boat when they headed back to the mainland????? just doesn't make sense!!

i heard he owes a lot of money- alimony to his ex wife- so maybe he is in hiding? and he payed his bar tab the last day of the trip so he def was there but no one saw him after???????

I heard that too, that he was seen leaving the boat but his wallet was found on board. It sounds to me like he wanted to disappear. He's not famous and he's actually been gone a while now. Look at how long that idiot bomber was able to hide out, even with his face all over the news.
