OMG - Teenage girl dies after kissing her boyfriend
 So sad, I just heard on the channel 4 news that a teenage girl died after kissing her boyfriend who had just eaten a peanut butter sandwich. She was allegeric and went into shock. It is amazing how serious an allergy to nuts can be.

It's really scary how an allergy to something can be so harmful.
I worked with a woman who was deathly allergic to peanuts and she had a note on her desk that said "if you ate anything that has contained nuts please do not touch my desk as I am deathly allergic"
I worked with another woman who ate something with a nut in it and she didnt know it and her throat closed up. Thank goodness she was alright.

My husband is badly allergic to shellfish and go figure he is in the seafood business. (he can handle it but just not eat it)
Well when we first started dating he made me this beautiful lobster dinner with all kinds of shellfish and had a little package wrapped up for me but I wasnt allowed to open it until I was done eating. When I opened it it was a bottle of Listerine and he watched me in the bathroom gargle and brush before he came next to me.
I dont know if listerine will kill whatever you ate but it was more funny than anything else. I always make sure I brush and flossing and rinse before I go next to him incase anything is stuck anywhere. Like I said probally not the safe thing to do but he isnt that highly allergic.

this is a serious allergy. I have had a few students that have had severe peanut allergies. Peanuts were not even allowed inthe classroom and every class party treat had to be checked to make sure there werent any peanuts in them. Theses kids have an epi pen handy in the nurse in case they go into an allergic shock...
How sad..

And my husband teases me about how he can't eat fish because I won't kiss him (I am allergic) Now he can't tease me anymore

I read about that. That is so sad. I know a girl who died was allergic to peanuts and died from eating some M&Ms with peanuts in them by mistake. It was so sad.
