How much rice cereal at a sitting when starting solids?

So far I've just given Kevin 4 little baby spoonfuls once a day but maybe I should give more.

I mix one tablespoon of rice cereal with 4 tablespoons of formula. Should I finish it all or just see how it goes?

My doctor basically just said you can feed him until he tells you he has had enough. He said it's very hard to overfeed and infant at this age solids because they will usually just refuse to eat anymore. I don't measure anymore, I just pour some in a bowl, mix with formula and feed her. She sticks her tongue out when she has had enough. Some days she will finish her bowl and want more other days she doesn't have a lot of interest in it. I kind of let her tell me what she wants.
