Know good catering company?
Hey all, we are planning for our newborn's Baptism celebration. However, we're really strapped for cash. We were thinking of getting a catering company that will provide everything (food, chairs, etc). to set-up at our house? We think this might be cheaper than going to an actual catering hall.
Know a good reasonable companies? Or reasonable restaurant for brunch- maybe $10-12 per person? Thanks!

I think oyu may do better a rest with a room. 10-12 is tight if thats too incl food, chairs table etc
My gf uses this cute little vfw in East Meadow and has the food catered from Uncle Giuseppes in East Meadow

I looked at a ton of places in Westbury, East Meadown, Levittown, and Wantagh last year for DH's 30th bday.
I would recommend Division Ave Catering. The food was excellent!

I am not postivie of the prices but Causeway Deli in wantagh has got really good food. I have used them twice and we use them at work all the time.
Ps just to save some extra $$ You can make the simple dishes yourself instead of paying someone to do it. A bag of salad mix cost 3 bucks at costco and most caters charge upwards of $50. Also penne all vodka is cheap and easy to make just a few jars of sauce and some pasta easly under $10bucks and it is like $75 a tray from a cater.

I just went to a brunch at St. James in Mineola. How many people are you thinking? They have a back room, that's closed off with french doors. I think the menu ranged in prices, no more than 16. an entree and that included a bloody mary, etc. Great food.
