Bumbo Seat
I just started putting Logan in it, he will be 3 months next week. I think its great because it frees up my hands to do other things... The problem is, he always looks scrunched over and like he is having trouble breathing when he is in it.. so I usually wind up taking him out. Do you think he is too young to sit in it? He is holding his head up on his own...
How old was your baby when you started using it?

Logan is too cute. Grace just got fer bumbo last week. She was 3 months old on July 11th. I can put her in it for 15 minutes tops at this point. She gets antsy and I feel like she's not comfortable. I think I'm just paranoid. Its great when we are eating dinner we can put her right on the table so she can watch us. Image Attachment(s):

I started Cole in his at just 3 months. He also looked uncomfortable, and he'd only stay in for 5-10 minutes. Now he's 5 months and much more comfortable in it.

Sp4747 - I think it is worth the money but 3 months may be too young to be sitting in it. The box says you can use it at 3 months. Colesmom said her baby is comfy at 5 months... I guess from 5 month until they can sit up on their own, it is worth it to have your hands free.... I use it when I am in the laundry room and have to fold laundry, which takes about 10 minutes. Also when I am eating dinner, which isnt very long either....
I just wish he could use it more now.

Charles has just started to use his bumbo (he is just 5 months). He sits in it for short periods of time (like anything). I agree, sometimes he looks like he is hunched over, when he rests his arms on either side he is OK. As his trunk strength increases I think he will "look" more comfortable...he does love sitting next to us in it...

Thank you! As far as the bumbo seat being worth the money...if I hear my husband tell me once more what a waste it was I think I'm going to kill him. I still have hopes for it and they look so cute sitting in them!

OMG DH said the same thing to me! But I think in a month or two they will feel more comfy!

I started mine at 3 months and he always looked kind of squished. He would never stay in it very long though. He just never loved it. Now at 5 months he tries to escape out - he tries to stand and get out. Plus Kev is a chubby baby so he just looks a little squished. So I rarely use it at all - I have to say it wasn't the best purchase for me...it was ok for about a month though...but the babies look so cute in it!
