Do you know if you can claim your dogs for Income Taxes?
I was told that I could but not sure because they have no social security #? i wanted to see if anyone else heard/know of such is possible?

i don't think pets, aside from seeing eye, helper dogs can be claimed. as much as we call them our children, they are animals

Only assistance dogs. I have a family member who has one and all food, vet related expenses etc. are tax deductible due to their disability.
