It depends. If it is a loaf of sliced (sandwich) bread then NO. But if it is a loaf of italian, french, bakery bread then YES, that is my favorite part!

I don't eat it from a loaf od sliced bread either.
From bakery bread, I would eat, but I usually give it to DH b/c its his favorite.
