Setting up another e-mail account???
I have Optimum online with outlook express mail. I have an e-mail account and my DH wants an e-mail account as well. I've tried to set one up but I've been unsuccessful. Anyone know how to do this...possibly walk me step by step...?

I don't have aim. I'm having trouble with the POP3 and the SMPT thingy...
It said that I completed it correctly and then when I try to send an e-mail, it says there is an error...

The incoming is POP3?
I put that in for the outgoing and it said that doesn't appear to be a valid server name.

I'm sorry - I typed that wrong!!!
POP - incoming - type: mail-hub.optonline.net
STMP - outgoing - type: mail-hub.optonline.net
Yes, its the same thing. Trust me!

DId you already go on optonline.net and set him up with a username?
Now you're just trying to pull it into outlook, right?

Okay I did all that...
I logged out and then logged back in. Then a box pops up asking for the password. The password is in there and it says it's wrong...now it won't let me back in...

what?!
The password is correct, you're sure? Try logging on webmail.optonline.net and changing the password, and then see if you can get in. It may be case sensitive, but I doubt it...

I tried logging in with his name and password but it says the user and password is not valid.

enter YOUR username and pswd
once you're in, click on "add sub account" on the left hand side
