Back from my RE appointment..UPDATE.
So I went today for my appointment. Its pretty much the same deal. Dr. Saketos went over my blood test results with me step by step so we understood everything, I really like her personally.
I do have pcos but still no internal sonogram, she says one isnt needed right now. My insulin levels are off and I have to work on my cholestorol. I lost 12 pounds since last seeing her which she was very happy about.
So I have to stay on the Metformin. She said it usually takes 3 months to start making a difference and she feels this is all I may need (hopefully)...she wants to see me again in January and if there is no change by then, I will start my first round of clomid. I asked her about the positive on the opk and she thinks that it was a false positive which can happen while being on metformin (redstar, you were right once again  ).
She took blood today to make sure I wasnt pregnant and to see if there were any traces of ovulation which she doubts though. So when they see I am not pregnant, I can start the provera, continue the met, try to continue to lose weight and hopefully there will be some changes by January.
I guess I am still in the waiting game. Its very annoying and discouraging because I feel that I dont have any control over whats going on but I am praying for the best.

Keep up the good work! It would be great if the Met was all you needed!!!! I wish you lots of luck and if it makes you feel better, there was a girl I was talking to on FF who was on Met and only Met and got PG!!

Dr. Saketos is wonderful and so is met :) It has helped so many people !!! You will get pregnant Noreen, don't worry...it just takes a little time :) I am so glad you are getting answers and coming up with solutions :) If you start charting, you may be able to witness a clear ovulation occuring....

I know it must be so hard to stay positive sometimes. It's one of the few areas in life that we have no control over.
