WHO CAN TELL ME ABOUT THEIR WIRELESS INTERNET AT HOME?? (please??)
I don't know enough about it - how much do you pay a month? what kinds of equipment do you need (besides a computer  )? and who is your provider? (and do you like them??)

We have Io through cablevision, and my laptop is wireless. We did need an extra part...I think it was less than $100....But I love it! I can have the computer anywhere near the house or in the yard and still get internet.

You need a wireless router. I have a linksys router. I think it cost $70.

I have RoadRunner. I've had a cable modem for years, which they provide. I have it as part of package. I think it's between $30-40 a month.
I bought a wireless router from Apple which was $200, but you can get a linksys one cheaper. Set it up like a regular router. No probs. Just make sure if you have multiple computers and/or a pritner you want to set up on the network the router has eough ports, otherwise you will need a switch.
And if your printer doesn;t have an ethernet conenction to go directly into the router, or wireless capabilities as some printers have, you'll need a printserver.
