Finally went for the genetic testing bloodwork
for cystic fibrosis and Fragile X. It was just a blood test and they said my doctor will have results in 7 to 10 days. DH still has to go for his blood chromosone analysis.
Hopefully everything comes out okay since I'm such a worry wart. I think my doctor thinks I'm crazy for doing all this before I get pregnant, but I need to have some peace of mind.

Good luck. I'm sure everything will be fine. My doctor actually said it was better to have it done before I get pregnant this way she said if there was anything wrong you could deal with it ahead of time.
