Finished today...Finally

I made the "Monster In Law" Poncho but ran into a few snags in the instructions. The front piece was supposed to be the whole thing.
No way would that fit around me... I even tried to fit it around my little cousin and it was way too small. I ended up making another one and slip stitching them together. Here are 2 pics. Not bad for a beginner.. LOL
Did anyone else try this one? Did you have the same problem?
