so today was the first soccer practice for DD (DH is the coach) and....

so you may remember last week when I posted that DD will be on a soccer team with girls who are younger than her because the cut off date is August1st and her bday is in October.....DD is in kindergarten and will be 5 next month......I was upset about this at first but we accepted it
until today all the girls on the team are 3 yrs old .....DD will be 5yrs old next month
AM I the only one who thinks this is wrong?????

All the girls are so tiny and just ran around in circles some were crying and whining ya klnow acting like 3....and DD will be 5 so I am not happy at all

Not only do I think it's wrong, I would imagine it's against the league rules. I'm one of the chairmen of our soccer league. I just had to move someone up because he was left back & needed to play with his age group, not grade.

Joseph is going to be 5 this month. He's on Kindergarten boys.

I would call the head of the league. Something doesn't sound right.

the president of the soccer club did email DH back saying she was in her correct age group (which technically she is because the cut off date is August 1st and her bday is October 13th)
but it is completely ridiculous when you see my almost 5 yr old playing with a bunch of 3 yr olds
We signed her up so she could be more social because she is shy and I wanted her to get some friends her age to play with

this has turned into such a disaster
DH even said he would still stay the coach of this team if DD could be moved up!!!!
