Bed rest
I had a bit of a scare last night. I was bleeding and passed a blood clot (sorry for TMI).
The good news: I went to the Dr. and he said that everything looked good and my cervix is still closed so it is not preparing for a miscarriage. He said that I had blood in my uterus and from my placenta growing, it pushed the blood out. He said that this is fairly common.
Seeing the blood wasn't so scary it was when I saw the clot that I got really nervous! He put me on bedrest until Monday. He said just to take it easy because I have been stressed out lately.
did this happen to anyone else?

I had bleeding and passed a blood clot but for me it was at 25 weeks and 30 weeks.

It didn't happen to me, I just wanted to offer some I am glad you went to the doc though! Take it easy for the next few days!

Thanks everyone! It actually happened while I was here on LIF last night and I was going to post to see if anyone knew what it could be then decided to call the Dr.

I was put on bed rest at about 25 weeks for 1 week. I wasnt bleeding or anything. I was having cramps that they are now calling an "irritable uterus" I have since cut back some hrs at work and have tried to take it easy as much as possible and feel better.
so glad the dr said everything looks okay. feel better - - and enjoy the time off! rest up!

It happens relatively frequently at this stage and I believe it can go away.

It happen to me at 5 1/2 - 6 weeks.
Everything turned out fine, I just took it easy for a couple of days

I had this happen to me...at 14 weeks. I was bleeding, put on bed rest and no real known cause...they said it could have been cervical blood pushed out by the baby growing..I was very scared but all went just fine!! Any questions, just FM me! Feel better :)
