I hate to ask but you may all remember the art teacher from selden middle school who passed

Well this was a high school friend of mine We worked together and his wife is also a high school and friend of mine. He passed while I was in the hospital with Keith. I received a email today and I hope you do not mind me passing it on. I knwo you have all be great to help me and others, and I know she is not on this site and all. Just a little back round, Ryan was a cancer surviver till his passing. Thanks !

On March 23, 2006, An angel was taken from us. As you may have seen or heard on the news, Ryan Anthony Zinna, a Selden Middle School art teacher collapsed and died while teaching his art class. Ryan was only 29 Years old. He was a wonderful father to a little boy, 1 ½ year old Ryan Bailey, and an amazing husband to his childhood sweetheart Jennifer. Jennifer and Ryan were together for 14 of those 29 years. They had an unbelievable bond and complimented each other so beautifully.

To help with the financial hardships that arise, The friends of Ryan Zinna are throwing a Benefit for the family. On July 17th, 2006, Tommy’s Place in Port Jefferson has donated their facilities, food, beer, wine and soda to help us raise as much money possible. At this time we are asking any local merchants to please donate anything possible to raffle off at the dinner. We are planning to have a great turnout and what a great thing to do for a local resident whos life and smile has touched so many people. I will personally be making a Thank you Program showing all the support from our merchants.
