Capris: How long past Labor Day do you wear them?

I was just looking at some cute maternity capris at old navy and they were cheap but I am not sure about them.

How long past Labor Day do you continue to wear your capris or cropped pants?

I think all the rules are old school. I would just wear whatever is appropriate for the weather.

I usually wear them into October as long as the weather is warm enough. Sandals are a must for me until my toes are too cold to be outside! I do wear them sometimes with loafers

i basically wear them all year
in the summer the are cute with sandals
spring and fall -pumps
and winter i love the way they look with boots

I also wear them until it gets cooler but the minute I feel a draft on my legs I am in pants. So once it hits under 75 I am usually in pants.

a little kitten heal or mules work for slightly cooler weather

I wear them until it is too cold. Unfortunately with this crazy weather, I am already wearing pants

I wear them until it gets cold. I wear them with cute loafers or mules.

I don't wear capris. I don't think they are flattering on me.

I wear them to mid-Oct usually. Sometime in Sept as it gets cooler I switch from sandals to loafers/slides.

I wear them till it gets to cold and even then I will still wear them with knee high boots when it's realy cold.

until halloween..i think november is pushing it..

however ill wear gauchos all year - esp with boots and heels -but imho, those are different than capris

This is interesting to hear these responses. In the past I have worn them through September but I think I put them and the sandals away in October. I guess fabric is also an important factor. I wouldn't wear linen capris in the fall.

Maybe I should order the ones I was looking at. They look classic enough.

I have worn them in the winter with boots. Also this year, tights are going to be really big, so you could wear them with tights underneath.
I wouldn't wear them if they were a very light summery fabric though, like linen.

I never thought of wearing them with boots. I always thought I would look like I am trying too hard

I waer Capris or Gauchos with my long boots even in the winter. I have a few pairs that are wool!
