UPDATE: baby story I posted 2 days ago
The fever broke, the doctors found the infection and able to treat it. Their is NO brain damage. (but only time can really tell because the baby just turned 7 months)
The doctors are very optamistic on the baby's recovery however they cant tell what the long term effects are going to be (speach problems, learning problems, etc...) until the baby is older.
The baby is being released today and into foster care with her sibling. My co-workers friend is going to court next week to take custody of both the kids.
This is just an amazing little girl and I am glad she is a baby and will not remember any of this horrific incident.
I pray my co-workers friend is able to get full custody because the baby will have such a wonderful life here and away from the monster who did this to her.
