Ok this is what happened if anyone cares to know because i do stupid post! the house we looked at is a ranch in port jefferson station and the house in the inside of the house had paneling walls and the kitchen is very small with no eat in kitchen and no dishwasher. there will have to be some work done on it. I thought the guy would have been more compromsive because of that and he wanted 100 less that is a slap in the face!

the price is 369 the house we asked for 350 we tried to go down and we figured maybe the guy will be a little compromisive and maybe go down to 360 but he went down 1000 less instead of the price we wanted!

House hunting is filled wtih disappointment.
Just know that this can happen again and if it does you just have to get out there nad try again.

NO ONE was flaming you,.. I was just confused at the way you wrote your original post, like I have a secret I cant tell you though, so I said OK theres 30 seconds of my life I cant get back for nothing...
I didnt understand the POINT of the thread...someone pointed it out and we all then understood you were looking for good wishes and Sent them your way....
My opinion is that its silly to start a post like this....what responses did you want..Oh ok...good for your secret?

Its ok I know you dont normally do that to me . I am just very upset tonight and i was really hoping this was going to be the house than I was going to share with you all tonight but like Piy said I did not want to jinx it.

Ro- WHO flames you?? seriously? i mean, c'mon we're all grown ups here- people stated that threds like this annoy them- NO ONE said anything about YOU. AND the people who said that threads like this annoyed them STILL wished you luck in whatever it was that you needed. BUT you didnt ask for good luck or anything like that, you posted, "I have a secret and only 1 person knows  " and that was IT. What is the point of that?
I'm sorry that the house thing didnt work out- its a frustating market, and i do wish you the best of luck. But, please, dont act like the whole world is against you becaue people stated their frustration with these types of threads.
