We put Julia in the crib for the first time tonight - UPDATE

I'm a nervous wreck. I don't think I'll sleep at all tonight - I miss having her next to us in the bassinet. She's only 2 months, but we felt she was very uncomfortable in the bassinet. She seems to be sleeping SO WELL in the crib. Why am I so sad and worried??

She slept 7.5 hours!!! The most she ever slept was about 5. Of course, I checked her every half hour, but she was sound asleep!! I think she was much more comfortable in the crib than in her bassinet.

I am dreading the night we have to do this. Right now she's in a snuggle nest next to us and I keep avoiding the cradle which is in our room. I have no idea how I'll make it to the crib.

That's great that she slept longer. My daughter was in her bassinett for four weeks and then I moved her to the larger pack n play bassinett and she started sleeping through the night. I felt the bassinett was to small for her. When she was 3 and a half months old we moved her into her crib. I too checked on her constantly. She is now 14 months old and I still check on her. I just love to watch her sleep.
