I'm I the only one who hasn't finished school or hasn't gone to school?

I was just curious. I haven't finished because I got pregnant and I'm taking a break.
I just wanted to know that I'm not alone so I don't feel as bad and like i'm a failure which I know I'm not but I still feel bad.

I think its just really late- I am sure there are some of you out there. My mom finished her Master's after having us- my sister was 5 when she started college. So stop beating yourself up- you just are doing it differently!

I wish I had a baby so you can't have everything.

My wife never finished college. So its not that bad. She may eventually go back though.

And my wife actually has a job she likes!

you are NOT a failure!!! having a college degree isnt what constitutes success- Look at Bill Gates- he dropped out of college, and he makes more in a week then i'll make in a lifetime!

I haven't finished yet, either. As a matter of fact, I've decided that I *REALLY* don't want to continue in the program I was in. I'm working full time and plugging through school...I hate it.

I never went...sometimes I regret it, but for the most part I don't think about it. I really like my job and am very happy with my life.

I got PG my first year of college and never went back. I will hopefully once Anthony starts school

ETA: Not for my career but for myself. That was a goal I had set for myself that is important to me to follow through.

i never went to college and never will!
i dont want to still. it is seriously just NOT for me.
im not dumb, or a failure. i make more money (believe it or not) than alot of ppl that went to college and have a 'real' job.

I never finished college....was almost there and had some family issues that caused me to start working instead.

I have been very lucky in my career and haven't really been hindered at all without it and i have no desire to go back. I can't even stand the though of homework..icky

I went for a year. Couldn't handle the stress I put myself through (all self induced) I never went back. I love my job but wish I had more pay.... My fault though cause my boss is a tight wad.

I dropped out of college. I don't even have a good reason. I guess I just figured that ultimately a degree in music from a small school in Tn. was not going to help me get a job on broadway.

You are not a failure.... Just finish at your own pace if you really want to go back. Like someone said degrees don't consitute success. I have to two degrees and still don't really have a career.

I never went to college...and there are times when I do regret it...but, in all honesty, where my life is now, I like it and a college degree wouldn't do me any good!!!!! I'm getting ready to have my first child and have no plans on going back to work.

After HS, I went to work for a large insurance company in NYC and worked my way up the ladder...my experience meant more to that company than any college degree ever will!!!!

I attempted to go back for my masters...but only lasted one semester.

I couldn't continue the following semester because of some personal matters that needed my attention.

I want to attempt and go back again this January...I just hope this time everything works out and I stay focused and finish....I would hate to waster $$ on school and not finish.

I got pregnant at 17 and I am lucky to even have a HS diploma l
I never went to college because I had to get one crappy job after another and then I met DH and he works and we have a 4 yr old together so I am a stay at home mom.
I do really worry about what happens when I have to go back into the workforce without college

You're not alone. I have 2 degrees that I'm doing nothing with, meanwhile my brother only went to college for a semester and dropped out. Well, he is making more than 3X what I'm making and I'm making a decent salary.

Until recently I didnt even realize the potential of salary you could make
for instance I thought in order to make big $$$ you had to be lawyer,doctor etc
but I just found out that my BIL who is a CPA makes a 6 figure salary
SCHOOL is sounding so much better to me now

nope...I dropped out of Graduate School after I met DH...I was so sick and tired of going to school because my family told me it was the only way to make a good life

I am still working on my degree. Its hard since I always found great paying jobs that kind of fell into my lap. I don't have a single career goal. DH is in school now, I feel like if I went now as well, I would never see him.

I will go back since I only have a few classes left and get a lib. arts degree once DH is done. But I think I want to go to hair school. Always took an intrest in it.

It always drove my parents crazy, I let my scholarship go to stay with DH. All I wanted to be was Mrs. O###.

My grandmother has her BA in Home Economics from Hunter. She was a SAHM with 9 kids. My grandfather always said she was a real career woman. She ran the house like a sucessful business.
