For those unhappy at your jobs...
How do you stay positive? Everytime I think I'm ok and willing to be patient for my next opportunity, I get annoyed again and sad that I'm here - which is basically as soon as I walk into the office

Think about all the good things in your life and that your job is NOT your life. Plan dinners for the weekend or just fun things to do so that you look forward to something great. That's what I do!

I am very unhappy at my job-but I don't let it bother me. I do my work and go home. There are worst things in this world to worry about than harping on how unhappy I am at my job.

knowing that i won't have to work much longer (I plan to be a SAHM) is what gets me through the day. also, all the free makeup I get helps too

i look at my paycheck...
i stay kind of numb until the weekend....
also being on LIF all day helps!

I hate, hate hate my current office..but not my job. I have great co-workers that make my stay here worthwhile. When I'm having a horrible day, I try to look forward to 5:00 and getting the F outta here!!!!
Oh & LIF keep me so busy!!!!!

That's true - being on LIF helps, although I wish I could go on more than I do:)
I like the idea of staying numb until 5pm and then looking forward to the evenings and weekend - I'm feeling a bit better already today - thanks ladies!
No vacas planned, but I can dream about my next one:)

I have a friend who I vent to almost every day, and she does the same. I know that if I didn't have her, I'd go out of my mind.

i don't complelty hate my job, but there are days when i wish i could just leave. i think what gets me through is that i like most of the people. my check helps too.

I hate the field I'm in...the "job" itself is ok...and the people I work with is great. So basically paycheck and people get me through. Oh plus the reality that to be in a field I'd like...I'd have to take a HUGE paycut...ummm...no.

I don't know. I'm in such a rut.
Weekends and vacations aren't even cutting it -- I'm always stressed about work stuff.
I can't even say that I like the people here in the office or the people I work with on projects  On top of that, our bonuses were slashed to less than half of target. 
It's fear of homelessness and knowing that DH and I both have to work to keep ourselves afloat (let alone ever have kids  ) that keeps me coming in every day.
