Weird beginning to 2006...kind of morbid.
So far, we are 9 days into 2006, and I know of 7 people who have passed away, including DH's great uncle and my great aunt. Others include a friend's grandfather, a friend's co-worker, and a friend's therapist.
Is anyone else finding that they are hearing about a lot of deaths this year? It's really freaking me out...almost every day, it's someone else.

my absolute beloved, dear grandmother passed on dec 29th and it is a very strange way to begin a new year. it hasnt actually sunk in yet and it is very different feeling than ive ever had at the beginning of a new year. lots of hugs ot us all.

My SO had a 15 year old kid from his high school (where he teaches) OD last week... what a sad way to start a new year!

Yes- the end of December started quite a few . . . .
I didn't even include that at the end of December, my father's cousin committed suicide!
