Sweet Sixteen Gift
I know someone posted this, but she was going to a relatives b-day. Scott and I are going to my best friend's niece's sweet sixteen. I have known Kimmy since the day she was born. She is having it at the Knights of Columbus. We were thinking of just giving her $. Do you think $100 is an appropriate amount?

BTW- they never sent out invites. We got a call on Saturday to tell us about the party for the following week. We are not on the B list but the family does everything the last minute.

You could do a bond but then she'd be 46 when it was full value, right???
$100 is a perfectly fine gift.
