Side effects with Ortho Tri-Cyclen??
I just switched from the mini pill to Ortho Tri-Cyclen about 3 weeks ago and now my face is breaking out, I'm EXHAUSTED , and I'm kinda achy/crampy... I'm thinking it could be my body fighting off the cold my 2 kids have, but the pill is the only thing different right now.... Has anyone had any side effects from the Ortho Tri-Cyclen?

I had never been on the pill but before my wedding i went on Ortho. My boobs hurt SO bad and they got bigger- I went to my dress fitting and it wouldn't zip up past my boobs- I cried! Needless to say, I went off of it and they went back to normal! But bigger and sore boobs were my only reaction to it....

i was on OTC back when i was in college, and it used to give me crazy Mood swings. no other real symptons though, but before that (and since then), i never really had any 'typical' PMS symptoms, but i did very much so when i was on OTC.
now, i've been on OTC- Lo for the past 6 months or so, and its Fine. i havent noticed any changes in my body- except that it made AF last a little longer than it used to.
if you do think its the pill thats causing that, maybe you could speak to your gyno about switching to orthotricyclen LO??

Prior to my son
I gained about 10lbs, went up a cup size, would get very bloated prior to my period, Dh told me my mood would be belligerent with a nasty tone to everything I said 8 days prior to my period. I also got pregnant (chemical and miss) twice on it and took it religiously. Oh yeah and barely any sex drive.
After my son I took the mini pill while breastfeeding then switched to yasmin. I love it, I lost weight, I'm beligerent for maybe a day tops, have a sex drive, no bloat.

I have no side effects on Ortho Tri Cyclen (before pregnancy and I just started taking it again)

I was on it a long time ago and got off right after the 3 month trial they make you do! I HATED it! I was so moody, bloated, soooo tired, and no sex drive what-so-ever. It also caused me to break out like crazy. You probably need to go on a lower dose like I did. I took Mircette for a couple of years and never had an issues.

Ortho-tri-cyclen made me scared of myself I was such a witch. I couldn't even stand listening to myself. All I could do is snap at everyone and cry over every little thing. It was HORRIBLE and I was sure to get off of it right away. I also had nausea.
