I'm officially a working mom...
I was supposed to start the 14th but they asked if I could come in a few days this week to help them out.
It went very well  I found out I can even wear shorts or sweatpants if I wanted. It is very casual.
I felt guilty because I was so busy I didn't even think about Andrew as much as I thought I would. On the way home I got so upset that I didn't think about him more throughout the day
I just wanted to give encouregment that it wasn't anywhere near as hard as I thought it was going to be. I think it also helps that my family will be watching him.
I just wanted to share I am going to miss being on here all day Maybe I can sneak on at work

I'm glad that it went so well. It's so great that family is watching him, it probably makes you feel so much better about leaving him. You're giving me some hope because I go back in three weeks.

I am so lgad everything went well. Sounds like you have a great job.
I know when I go into work for a few hours a day I am really busy and don't have much time to think about Jake. I know when I get into the car I want to rush right home to see him though.

Don't be upset that you are busy, be glad that you are. The first month I went back it was the end of the year after a busy two weeks it was D E A D...and it just made me miss her more...

Don't feel guilty about not thinking about him. Since he is with family you are probably comfortable and you do not need to worry.

I am glad your first day went so well. That has to be a huge relief to have the "first day back" behind you. It sounds like its going to be a great job for a mom!!

See, having adult contact during the day is definately a good thing at times. I am glad that it went well. And now you can go home and enjoy some good quality time with your little man!
